Carbohydrate and fat intake are usually believed to be the main reason for obesity and overweight. However, fast gain weight occurs as a result of increased sugar intake much more frequently.
Most of the foods we consume every day contain sugar. For example bananas, mangos, pure fruit juice and hone are only a few of the foods that contain sugar. Not only it promotes weight gain, sugar can also cause numerous health issues. Sugar overdose can lead to depression, sleepiness, diabetes, heart disease, yeast infection, colds, fatigue and many more.
Our body uses the sugar in order to produce energy. However, the excess amounts of sugar are stored as fat which means the more sugar we consume the more fat gets accumulated.
Sugar consumption can be thought of as an addiction because of the symptoms you feel once you start quitting it. These symptoms include fatigue, headaches, sadness and cravings. In order to successfully remove sugar from your diet you should start by removing one sugar product at a time. This is why we have prepared a three day sugar detox plan for you.
